On Wednesday, 25 February 2026, various excursions and additional events will be offered to conference participants starting at 4 p.m. If you are interested, please register for the respective event. Please note that the number of participants is limited. The events will end around 6:30 p.m., so that participants can attend the social evening afterwards.

1. Guided tour of the greenhouses at the Botanical Garden of the Technical University of Braunschweig, Humboldtstraße 1, 38106 Braunschweig (25 pers. max)
2. "Plant remains in old structures – The digitization of the 300-year-old Ruperti herbarium" (80 pers. max) (https://zkfn.de/archiv-historischer-biodiversitaet/ - Oral presentations on the herbarium and its restoration and digitalisation by the TU Braunschweig. The Conference Dinner of the Weed Conference 2026 will take place on 25 February 2026, in the cafeteria of the JKI, Messeweg 11/12, 38104 Braunschweig, Germany.
Separate registration is required for participation, which can be completed as part of the conference registration.
The participation fee is €40.00, which includes a buffet and drinks.

Please note that a cancellation fee of 50 euros will be charged if you cancel your registration. This will be deducted from your refund.
From 13.02.2026 it is unfortunately no longer possible to cancel your registration and receive a refund.
